Upload Data

You can upload your own numeric or non-numeric data into the system to visually represent it on a map and/or to perform further analysis. Data can be uploaded and mapped for any geography level for which you are currently licensed. The Upload Data feature can be accessed from all map modules, Marketscape™ Retail Target, and Media Target™ as well as MDx Reports - Create Your Own Report.

Prepare Upload File

For accurate results, the file should not contain any duplicate geography values.

The upload file needs to have the geography defined in a manner the system will recognize.

The following identifiers for the corresponding geography are required:

Numeric data will be treated as counts, therefore any aggregation is a simple roll up. Aggregated non-numeric data will represent the dominate item.
